Extension Education & Agriculture Committee
Oversees the Administration of the UW Extension Office, the Soil Conservation Office, and the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Approves the purchase of capital equipment, authorizes applications for state aid, enters into contracts with landowners, and acquires gifts. Responsible for hiring and performance reviews of all agents. Recommends policies for supporting agriculture, conservation, and sponsors educational programs in the areas of: agriculture/agribusiness, community resource development, family living education, and 4H-youth development. Oversees and is responsible for UW Extension Office, Soil & Water Conservation, Aging Resource Center and Expo Board.
