Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Steering Committee
The Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Steering Committee is comprised of representation from municipalities, partners, and emergency services agencies from throughout Manitowoc County. This Committee was formed to coordinate and provide input into the update process for the 2025-2030 Manitowoc County Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan, and local input to the plan, is required to ensure eligibility of Manitowoc County and all adopting municipalities to apply for federal mitigation funding prior to or following a declared disaster event.
