Public Safety Committee
Confers and meets with the appropriate officials responsible for the justice and public safety of persons and property within the County, including the Clerk of Circuit Court, Circuit Court Judges, Coroner, Emergency Management, District Attorney, Family Court Commissioner, Register in Probate, and Sheriff and brings recommendations for improvements to the County Board Reviews monthly the budget status of all justice and public safety departments. Oversees and is responsible for Clerk of Circuit Court, Circuit Court Judges, Coroner, District Attorney, Emergency Management, Family Court Commissioner, Register in Probate, Emergency Management and Sheriff’s Department.
