Manitowoc County Health Department protects and promotes the health of those who live, learn, work and play in Manitowoc County. MCHD is designated as a Level III Health Department, and our activities are guided by state statutes, rules and national standards.

Organization Structure
The Manitowoc County Health Department is led by the Health Director/Health Officer. Staff work in the areas of Community Health, Environmental Health, Public Health Nursing, and WIC. The Business Manager and Bilingual Health Aides support all areas of work within the Department.
The Health Department is advised by a Board of Health.
