About Us
As a local health department, we work to protect and promote the health of those who live, learn, work and play in our community. Our activities are guided by state statutes, rules and national standards. In December 2023, the MCHD was officially designated as a Level III health department. Level III health departments meet the highest level of standards identified in Wisconsin state statute and rule.
