What Do I Do With?
Medications
Unwanted medications should be properly disposed of to reduce risks of drug abuse, accidental poisonings, and unintentional environmental releases. Flushing and disposal in the trash can contribute to medications entering the water supply. The recommended method is to return them to a drug drop box. Be sure to check the current guidelines for the drop box or event you are using. Note that not all locations have the same guidelines though most require pills to be bulked in a zip lock bag for disposal.
