CTH “Y” Construction Project/Closure Notice
CTH “Y” from CTH “R” to CTH “Q” will be “Open for Local Traffic Only” within this segment beginning on Thursday, May 8th, 2025
The project consists of milling, Cold In Place followed by 2 weeks of curing before a final layer of asphalt, shouldering, and pavement marking. Expect the roadway to be “closed to thru traffic” within this segment, although access to all affected residences and businesses will be maintained at all times with some possible delays at times.
The detour route will be CTH “Y” to State Highway 147 to CTH “Q”.
The project is expected to be completed by the middle of June (weather dependent).
CTH “Q” Construction Project/Closure Notice
CTH “Q” from Rockwood Road to Hwy 147 (7.5 miles) will be “Open for Local Traffic Only” within this segment beginning on Monday, May 12th, 2025.
The project consists of milling, Cold In Place followed by 2 weeks of curing before a final layer of asphalt, shouldering, and pavement marking. Expect the roadway to be “closed to thru traffic” within this segment, during construction. Although access to all affected residences and businesses will be maintained at all times with some possible delays at times.
The detour route will be STH 310 to CTH “R” to Hwy 147.
The project is expected to be completed by early July. (weather dependent).
Daily Closures on CTH “XX”
Manitowoc County Highway Department will be performing a Multi-Culvert Replacement Project on County Trunk Highway “XX” in the Town of Schleswig starting the week of June 9, 2025.
County Highway “XX” between State Highway 67 and CTH “A” will have multiple culverts being replaced which will cause temporary “daily” closures over the course of 3 weeks, weather dependent.
Culvert replacements will begin on the west end of CTH “XX”, working east to CTH “A”.
The detour posted as: STH 67 North to CTH “X” East to CTH “A” South
The closures are scheduled to start at 6:00 a.m. each day, with the road to be reopened at the end of each day.
