Lakeshore Holiday Parade

The Lakeshore Holiday Parade, presented by Novak’s Service Center, is an annual tradition in Downtown Manitowoc! Held the night before Thanksgiving at 6:30 p.m., the parade is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family and friends!

Floats, marching bands, trucks, and walkers will follow a route heading east at S 14th St on Washington St to S 8th St, then heading north on 8th St to Park St at The Rahr-West Art Museum. The Sensory Sensitive Zone will be implemented again this year from S 14th St to S 12th St on Washington St. There will be no lights, loud music, or sirens in these two blocks. The Sensory Sensitive Zone aims to create a more comfortable environment for individuals sensitive to loud noise and flashes of light. The public is welcome to bundle up and watch from the sidewalks anywhere along the route, staying on the curb or behind it.

If you can’t make it, a live radio broadcast will be available on WOMT Radio 1240 AM / 107.9 FM, and a Facebook Live will be streaming from the City of Manitowoc’s Facebook page.

The Santa Reception will be held at the Rahr-West Art Museum before, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., and after the parade. This is a free event and children can meet with Santa, enjoy treats, and take in the beauty of Christmas in the Mansion.
