4th on the Shore

Celebrate Independence Day in Manitowoc at 4th on the Shore! The annual 4th of July parade kicks off the day at 10:00 am and continues with live music, food trucks and much more in downtown and along the lakefront. 4th on the Shore concludes with the Festival Foods Fireworks Show at dusk. Subfest at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum is also part of the day of festivities along the lakeshore.

Schedule of Events

9 am – 5 pm $10 admission to Wisconsin Maritime Museum (Veterans and active military free all weekend)

10 am  Fourth on the Shore Parade and USS Cobia whistle salute

10:30 am – 6:30 pm Bands, food, and drinks at the Manitowoc Yacht Club

10 am – 6 pm Bounding Main stage shows and roaming performances (WMM East lot)

10 am – 4 pm Craft vendors, food trucks, and live music in the YMCA lot

11 am – 2 pm Rod Scherer Group plays at Manitowoc Yacht Club, food and drinks available

11 am – 5 pm Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse open for self-guided tours

11 am – 10 pm Food vendors & beverage tent at WMM East lot

11 am – 10 pm Sub Pub open (WMM rooftop)

12 pm USS Cobia whistle salute

1 pm – 2 pm  Manitowoc Marine Band small ensembles play at the YMCA lot

1 pm – 5 pm Black Knight plays at the Salmon Derby (Manitowoc Marina)

2 pm – 3 pm  Manitowoc Marine Band large ensemble plays at the YMCA lot

2 pm – 6 pm Katrina DeVille & The Nobody Famous, food and drinks at Manitowoc Yacht Club

2 pm Blue Cheese Combo at The Wharf

6 pm – 9:30 pm Dave Steffen Band plays at the Salmon Derby (Manitowoc Marina)

7 pm – 11 pm Rising Phoenix plays at WMM East lot

Parade

The annual 4th of July parade kicks off the day’s festivities at 10:00 a.m. The route begins heading north at the intersection of 8th and Washington Streets and turns right onto Maritime Drive, continuing to the Manitowoc Yacht Club. Remember to stay on or behind the curb to allow room for the floats and throw away your candy wrappers in the trash barrels provided along the route.
