Pay Fines or Fees

You can make your payment with a debit or credit card online. This service is for Manitowoc County cases only, generally for citations issued by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department, State Patrol or DNR. Check your citation to be sure it directs you to appear at the Manitowoc County Courthouse, at 1010 South 8th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220. If it does, this is the correct website for making payment. If it indicates an initial appearance at any other address, you should not be making payment at this website.

If your citation was issued by the City of Manitowoc, City of Two Rivers, Village of Mishicot, or City of Kiel, you need to check your citation for that municipality’s website information to make your payment.

Electronic payment associated with a commitment, warrant, or license suspension which is received after normal business hours, on the weekend, or on a holiday will not be addressed until the next regular business day.

Posting Bail
You may post bail for an individual in custody at the Manitowoc County Jail, in person, at the Manitowoc County Clerk of Court during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays). All payments must be made in cash, or by credit card. Please be advised if you opt to use a credit card, there is a 3% service fee and you will be required to provide a valid photo id that matches the name on the card.

Drivers License Suspensions
If you pay a fine in full that was subject to a drivers license suspension for failure to pay, once the Clerk of Court receipts your on-line payment, a Conviction Status Report (CSR) gets transmitted electronically to the Wisconsin DOT. It takes the DOT approximately 24 to 48 hours to update its database daily, after which time you can reinstate your license, either in person at a local DMV office in Wisconsin or on-line.

Please make sure you are paying a citation for Manitowoc County…Look closely at your citation to make sure you are paying the correct municipality. Your citation should indicate “Manitowoc County, at 1010 South 8th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220.” If it indicates any other municipality, you cannot pay at this website….you have to make payment with the correct municipality. We will reject payments which are paid to the wrong municipality. If you are trying to pay a citation for the City of Manitowoc, this is the wrong website.
